The Senior IT Delivery Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives across Cytiva, ensuring execution is aligned to portfolio priorities, governance requirements, and business outcomes. The role is focused on driving disciplined delivery within a structured governance framework, ensuring initiatives are delivered in a controlled, predictable and compliant manner, with strong visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies. This position reports to the Portfolio Delivery Lead and will be an on-site role.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the successful delivery of IT initiatives, ensuring alignment to agreed scope, timeline, cost, and quality.
- Drive delivery execution through robust planning, tracking and control of schedules, milestones, dependencies and outcomes.
- Provide clear, consistent reporting on delivery status, risks, issues and dependencies to enable informed decision-making and escalation.
- Ensure adherence to Cytiva IT delivery frameworks, governance standards and tollgate requirements, maintaining high-quality, audit-ready artefacts.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and interdependencies, ensuring timely resolution and controlled delivery outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices, controls, and predictability in line with PMO and governance expectations.
- Balance and optimize resource utilisation across initiatives in line with portfolio priorities and capacity constraints.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across business, IT, and external partners, ensuring alignment, transparency and effective communication throughout delivery.
- Operate effectively in a matrix environment, coordinating across multiple teams and functions to ensure delivery momentum and integration of outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working within IT delivery or project management environments, including exposure to agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery models.
- Experience in business relationship management, engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering business requirements.
- Experience with project planning, reporting, or project management tools (e.g. Aha!, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar).
- Experience developing or maintaining delivery standards, templates, or governance frameworks.
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. GxP, manufacturing, life sciences).
- Experience supporting enterprise functions or PMO transformation initiatives.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel: up to 10%.No specific physical requirements for this role.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience working in a regulated environment, supporting enterprise functions or PMO transformation initiatives.
