Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England (WA16)
Salary: £26,521 per annum + benefits
Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours)
This role is the key link between customers and internal teams, managing orders from initial enquiry through to delivery and invoicing. You will respond to customer queries by phone and online, resolve issues, and ensure customers feel supported at every stage. Day‑to‑day tasks include processing orders, coordinating with the warehouse and supply chain, checking product availability, managing invoicing and payments, and updating customers on progress. The role requires strong organization, an eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and coordinate with internal departments.
- Communicate regularly with customers by phone and online to answer queries and resolve issues.
- Check product availability and manage invoicing and payments.
- Update customers on order status and progress.
- Escalate concerns and manage credit limits when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Competent IT skills with emphasis on Excel (Microsoft Office and systems).
- Customer‑focused mindset, responsive and professional.
- Excellent attention to detail across orders, documentation, and compliance tasks.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
