School Caretaker

Clockwork Education has been approached by a school in Bishop Auckland to assist in finding a School Caretaker ASAP. The school would like to meet and train someone before the start of the school holidays.

The ideal candidate will be willing to work split shifts to open the premises in the morning and then return in the evening to lock up.

Responsibilities

• Responsible key holder – opening and closing premises and monitoring the property
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintaining premises to ensure safety
• Managing outdoor areas and general upkeep of grounds
• Using own initiative and taking the lead

Requirements

• Experience in building maintenance, cleaning, plumbing or gardening
• Confident in working alone
• Provide two employment or educational references
• Hold or be in process of obtaining an enhanced DBS disclosure
