LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) Nights – based Tamworth

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) £42,307 basic on a 48 hour week – plus shift premiums

Shift pattern available: Monday to Friday – start time 21:00

Location: Tamworth B78 3HJ

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Start times available 21:00 – average shift length 12-13 hours
• Shift pattern available: Monday to Friday
• Hourly rate Days £16.95, Night rate £18.81 paid between 18:00-06:00 and extra premiums for Saturday £1.36 per hour and Sunday £2.54 per hour
• Nationwide RDC bay delivery work and backhauls, supplier collections – curtain sided trailer work
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a MINIMUM of 6 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) ‘on the road’ commercial driving experience and have curtain sided trailer experience
• Ideally have RDC delivery experience
• Live locally to Tamworth
