SEND Primary Teacher
Location: Burgess Hill
Salary: £32,916 – £45,352 (pro rata)
Contract: September – Part time FTC
Overview
We are seeking a motivated teacher to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as additional needs such as ADHD and Autism. The role requires enthusiasm, passion for education, and a strong interest in supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs. Experience re‑engaging learners who have missed significant periods of education and helping them rebuild positive relationships with learning will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
The role involves providing support for pupils to overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and reach their full potential in a SEND environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
- Good behaviour management skills
- Availability between 1-5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
- Minimum requirement: QTS or relevant teaching qualification
