The office base for this role will be Basingstoke or Greenham. We are happy to offer a blend of office and home working with a requirement to be in the office at least two days per week.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and interrogate property assets and component data recorded in the asset management database.
- Make recommendations to shape and influence SNG’s investment plans for their homes.
- Analyse and reconcile data using data governance dashboard reports between the asset management system and other systems/databases to ensure accuracy and currency.
- Manage the asset management data content in all areas of the database, ensuring relevant updating and cleansing is completed using reports, data quality dashboards and other tools.
- Resolve issues identified by data governance dashboards and internal stakeholders, and report on outcomes.
- Produce management information reports to stakeholders, analysing impacts/trends and creating new reports as required.
- Produce annual programmes of work aligned to the Forward Maintenance Plan, ensuring data from all systems contributes to future improvements in SNG’s Asset Management strategy.
- Create component forecasting reports and provide analysis or trend information as requested by internal stakeholders.
- Support the Coordinator – Asset in managing requests received through the asset management helpdesk, ensuring timely completion.
- Respond to data enquiries from internal stakeholders regarding the asset management database and resolve data quality issues.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of asset management stock condition databases.
- Demonstrable analytical skills; ability to analyze large and small property data sets to draw conclusions and identify trends.
- Knowledge of the Social Housing sector or experience working in property management.
- Demonstrable intermediate or advanced experience in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets within solo and team environments.
- Ability to validate, assess, and impact think issues and to prioritize matters as “major” or “minor” data issues.
- Knowledge of methods to monitor data quality and identify issues (e.g. reconciliation).
