Logistics Export Coordinator

Alexander Steele recruitment are working with an exciting high-growth food manufacturing business which are looking to expand there team with a Customer Logistics Planner.

The ideal candidate has worked within a 3PL, freight forwarding or FMCG logistics environment, with strong export and compliance experience and is a career motivated individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end downstream supply chain, managing relationships with 3PL, fulfilment and freight partners across all modes and routes.
• Coordinate with customers to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time, across both B2B and B2C channels.
• Act as a key point of contact for consumer enquiries, delivering a responsive and professional customer experience.
• Organise and manage freight bookings, optimising for cost, reliability and service level.
• Own the export paperwork process end-to-end, ensuring full compliance and smooth, on-time shipments to international markets.
• Identify and deliver savings, efficiency gains and process improvements across logistics, fulfilment and freight.
• Support senior leadership on the business’s global expansion plans, including evaluating and helping set up logistics hubs in new markets.
• Build strong working relationships with 3PL, fulfilment and freight partners, holding them to account on performance and service.
• Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure logistics plans support sales and customer experience goals.

On Offer

• up to £40,000 p.a
• Monday to Friday – circa office hours with flexibility
• Hybrid -1-2 office days per week
• Unlimited Annual Leave
