About the role
Equans is recruiting an Apprentice Fabric Engineer to be based in Congleton. This is a fixed‑term contract role, working Monday–Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. The candidate will learn and develop knowledge, skills, and experience to complete the relevant qualifications for their trade. They will gain onsite experience by assisting and learning from Operatives and Supervisors, covering all aspects of their trade.
Key responsibilities
- Be dependable and attend work / college without exception
- Be actively involved in learning, personal development, and apprenticeship training
- Assist your mentor in maintenance repairs and installation works on a full range of properties
- Work as part of a team
- Ensure that standards and quality of work produced is in accordance with best practice and fit for purpose
- Be willing to learn to interpret drawings, diagrams, manufacturers specifications, and instructions
- Provide an efficient, courteous, and professional service to all customers
- Any other reasonable management request
