A globally recognised architecture and design practice is looking for an Architectural Technologist to join its London interiors team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of design and is interested in the interface between architecture and interiors. You would be joining a highly respected workplace interiors studio, supporting the delivery of technically complex commercial interior projects across the UK. The role would suit either an Architectural Technologist with interiors experience or someone from an architectural background looking to specialise within workplace interiors.
Job Description
- Produce detailed technical drawing packages for workplace interior projects
- Develop coordinated Revit models throughout project delivery
- Work closely with Interior Designers to translate design intent into technical information
- Coordinate architectural and interior detailing across projects
- Resolve technical challenges throughout design development
- Liaise with consultants, contractors and project teams
- Attend site visits and assist during construction stages
- Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and documentation
Key Skills
- Degree qualified in Architectural Technology, Architecture or a related discipline
- Strong technical knowledge and detailing experience
- Excellent Revit proficiency
- Experience producing coordinated construction documentation
- Understanding of workplace interiors or a strong interest in moving into interiors
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
