Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We support anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. With over 75 years of experience, we continually campaign and share research to influence systemic change.

Every three minutes, someone in the UK dies without the care and support they need – about 150,000 people each year. As people live longer with more health problems, the demand for palliative and end-of-life care is expected to rise to over 730,000 by 2039.
