Senior Estimator

Estimator (Swanley, UK)

£50k – £70k + Package / Dependent on Experience

Our client is a construction and facilities maintenance contractor, who have a growing Social Infrastructure team. They are at to point that the need an experienced Estimator, to play a key role in delivering accurate cost plans and competitive tenders within the South East social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications
• Collaborate across teams to produce commercially sound, competitive tenders
• Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers to support future opportunities
• Produce and present tender build-ups, meeting strict deadlines
• Identify risks and value opportunities within estimates
• Stay up to date with market rates, materials, and labour costs
• Support smooth handover from tender to project delivery

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ construction experience, gained within social housing projects.
• Strong knowledge of JCT & ACA contracts
• Skilled in take-offs, Bills of Quantities, and interpreting technical documents
• Numerically strong, detail-focused, and highly organised
• Proficient in estimating software (or quick to learn)
• Excellent communication and able to work under pressure
