Do you have the construction project management expertise to help deliver high-quality campus spaces? If so this role could be ideal.

We’re looking for a Project Manager to support the hands‑on delivery of small to medium‑sized construction projects across the Canterbury and Medway campuses. Working within recognised project and financial management standards, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards, while supporting a safe, accessible and sustainable campus environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing construction and refurbishment projects from initiation through to completion and handover
  • Planning, procuring and coordinating works, including drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Managing project budgets, risks, stakeholders and contractor relationships to support successful delivery
  • Providing specialist construction advice and ensuring compliance with health and safety, CDM, accessibility and University requirements

Qualifications

  • A construction, building studies or surveying qualification, or equivalent sustained industry experience
  • Project management experience within construction, refurbishment or building fabric works
  • Strong knowledge of construction health and safety, CDM regulations and accessibility requirements
  • The ability to manage budgets, solve problems and communicate effectively with contractors, consultants and stakeholders
