Job Title: Facade Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Facade Estimator to join a growing team in London. This role will focus on the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of façade packages, supporting the business in securing profitable projects within the UK construction sector.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for façade packages including curtain walling, glazing, cladding, and associated systems
• Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to fully understand project requirements
• Conduct material take-offs and quantify labour, plant, and materials required
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Assess project risks and opportunities to ensure commercially viable submissions
• Work closely with internal teams including sales, design, and commercial departments
• Support value engineering exercises to provide cost-effective solutions
• Ensure all estimates are completed within deadlines and to a high standard
• Maintain and update cost databases and pricing tools
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings where required

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ estimating or commercial experience within the UK construction industry
• Experience or exposure to façade systems such as curtain walling, glazing systems, rainscreen cladding, aluminium windows and doors, architectural metalwork, SFS, or similar
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of construction processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
