The Cancer Pathway Manager role sits within the Leeds Dental Institute (LDI) and works closely with the LTHT multidisciplinary team coordinators. The manager removes administrative barriers from patient pathways to ensure the clinical team can deliver care as effectively as possible. The position is primarily based at LDI in Leeds city centre, with occasional work at other LTHT sites, and offers flexible hybrid on‑site and work‑from‑home arrangements.

Main duties of the job
The role sits in the LDI administration team and works closely with the clinical team for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The environment values collaboration, development, and work‑life balance through flexible arrangements.
Job responsibilities
- Support the Referral Booking Service by identifying and coordinating capacity changes to support urgent suspected cancer referrals.
- Monitor and coordinate patient appointments in line with cancer wait‑time targets.
- Present and report status against targets and KPIs to LDI senior management.
- Support the clinical team by monitoring returned pathology reports and escalating as needed.
- Participate in service improvement projects and workstreams within the department.
