What you’ll do
You’ll be responsible for periodic inspection reports, installation condition reports, and completing any necessary remedial work in accordance with our client’s specific Health & Safety requirements. Your day-to-day duties will revolve around working on petrol filling station hazardous areas, retail and commercial electrical installations, and electric vehicle (EV) service equipment.
Required skills and abilities
- A solid background working in hazardous areas and retail forecourts
- Able to read & understand design drawings & panel schematics
- Ability to understand test readings and identify defects
- Knowledge of filling station installations & procedures
- Comfortable with MS Office, in particular Excel.
- Safety conscious
- Comfortable and confident enough to arrange own workload
- A full clean Driving License
Minimum Certification required
- C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection (or equivalent)
- ECS Gold Card in Date
- CSCS Card in Date
Preferred certifications
- CompEx (7&8 or 1-4)
- BS:7671:2018 As Amended
- UKPIA
