Our client is a well-established and respected engineering contractor delivering high-quality mechanical building services projects across the North West.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their office-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated project manager who enjoys overseeing multiple projects from inception through to completion while working closely with clients, engineers, site teams, and subcontractors.

The Role

Based from the office, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mechanical projects across the North West, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple mechanical installation projects across the North West.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, and material procurement.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout each project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Produce project reports, valuations, and progress updates.
  • Attend client and site meetings as required.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the building services or M&E sector.
  • A strong understanding of commercial mechanical installations.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with budgets, programmes, and project documentation.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • A full UK driving licence.
