AI Cloud Engineer: £120k + Bonus (FinTech)

We’re partnering with a globally recognised quantitative investment firm looking for an AI Cloud Platform Engineer to help deliver the next generation of AI capability across a world-class trading environment.

This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of Cloud Infrastructure, AI Platforms and Front Office Technology, designing and operating secure, scalable cloud environments that enable enterprise AI adoption.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and build AI-ready cloud platforms across Microsoft Azure, with exposure to AWS and GCP
• Deploy and support AI services including enterprise LLM platforms such as OpenAI Enterprise and Anthropic
• Engineer secure cloud infrastructure covering networking, identity, governance and automation
• Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation
• Automate cloud operations using Python, PowerShell or Bash
• Work closely with Front Office technology teams to deliver production-ready AI infrastructure within a highly regulated environment

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform preferred)
• Experience supporting AI services or enterprise AI platforms
• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security and governance
• Automation experience using Python or similar scripting languages
• Experience operating production cloud platforms within complex enterprise environments
