Job Description:

The post holder will be responsible for curriculum design and delivery of the SEND (19+ EHCP) study‑programme offer at the Learning and Enterprise College Bexley. They will develop a strategic, efficient learning offer for learners with EHCP that supports progression towards independence and/or work where appropriate, and ensure continuous improvement through effective deployment of resources and provision of a diverse, creative and flexible curriculum.

Candidate Profile

The post holder will be skilled in understanding the requirements set by relevant legislation and codes of practice in place and will work towards the continuous strengthening of the college’s curriculum offer for SEND. They will be confident engaging with a wide range of relevant stakeholders to shape the offer to local needs, engage target groups, and deliver high‑quality outcomes for learners and partners. You will be supported to undertake professional development activities and further training and be a designated safeguarding officer. You will receive a comprehensive induction and support throughout your role.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
