Role Overview
Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As a 24/7 SOC Analyst you will help drive service excellence within the SOC, protecting our customers and positioning Fujitsu as a trusted leader in security.
The Security Operations Center (SOC) is the front line of defence against cyberattacks. It utilises advanced technologies such as SIEM, EDR, NGAV and IDPS to continuously monitor, triage, analyse, correlate and prioritise security alerts from various sources.
Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor security tools, logs and alerts for suspicious activity using SIEM, EDR and network monitoring systems.
- Investigate and analyse security events and incidents to determine their nature, impact and root cause.
- Produce clear and concise reporting on security events, incidents and trends using ITSM toolsets.
- Collaborate closely with security teams, IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective security operations and communication.
- Stay up to date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities and best practices through training, industry publications and security communities.
Shift Requirements
Shift-based role: must work a combination of nights, days and weekends. A shift allowance will be provided.
Commute Requirement
All candidates must live within commutable distance from the SOC’s location in Warrington.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a SOC Analyst or in a similar security role.
- Strong understanding of security concepts and attacker techniques, including network, endpoint, cloud security and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
