Mobile Training Engineer (South West)

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Training Specialist to deliver high-quality technical training across our expanding portfolio of heat pumps, renewable energy systems and combustion products.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training on combustion products utilizing a mobile training van, partner centres and Worcester Bosch locations
  • Provide training to customers on heat pumps to support the market share increase in renewable technologies
  • Train customers and internal employees on gas, oil and renewable products at customer locations, partner centres and Worcester Bosch training centres throughout the UK
  • Maintain and develop new relationships with colleges and partner centres in the area
  • Assist the sales force with product launches, exhibitions and factory tours
  • Prepare course content and materials
  • Help maintain the development and upkeep of the Mobile Training Van
  • Develop new and existing courses for the product and legislation
  • Be involved in train-the-trainer projects for new products and services

Qualifications

Education requirements:

  • Previous experience in a training capacity is preferable but not essential
  • ACS CCN1 & CEN1 qualification
  • Knowledge of low temperature systems, installations and commissioning procedures
  • NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating or equivalent experience
  • Full driving licence

Skills & Attributes:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Trade-related background
  • Computer literate with Outlook, PowerPoint and Word is an advantage
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
  • Experienced in current health, safety and environment
  • Some experience or understanding of renewable technologies
  • Confident in delivering training of the highest quality expected of a market leader
  • Comfortable with talking to learners across a wide range of skills and positions

Working Hours: 37 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 – 16:30 Friday with a 1-hour lunch break
