Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
We are a close‑knit manufacturer in the automotive industry based in Holywell, Flintshire, seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team.
Position Overview
- Develop products in line with customer specifications using SolidWorks, preparing components for manufacture.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure first‑time right design and effective production methods.
- Collaborate with the Research & Development team to design prototypes and improve existing products for future performance.
- Suggest areas for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or a similar 3‑D modelling package.
- Experience of one year in industry or in a manufacturing or design firm is advantageous but not required.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Based within commuting distance of Holywell, Flintshire.
Remuneration
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000, dependent on experience.
Monday to Friday, full‑time, permanent position.
