Health And Safety Manager

My client is a leading national main contractor specializing in commercial and healthcare projects. I am currently assisting them with their requirement for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to assist with their new build mixed use development in Bedford, value £7m.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Health and Safety role working with principal/main contractors.
• In depth knowledge of the latest H&S guidance and legislation.
• Hold CSCS (Manager), NEBOSH and First Aid certificates.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a high level of Health and Safety in respect of all on site activities.
• Reviewing current practices and advising and educating site staff on best practice.
• Conducting investigations into incidents and “near misses” where required.
• Carry out inductions, toolbox talks, audits and inspections.
• Conduct safety meetings and be the HSE point of contact.
