Salaried GP – Derbyshire

3 sessions per week, up to £12,170 per session depending on experience. Thursday – 1 session, Friday – 2 sessions. Flexible, supportive working environment with excellent work‑life balance.

About the Role

The successful GP will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Routine GP consultations
  • Management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Clinical triage and assessment of patient requests
  • Telephone and face‑to‑face consultations
  • Medication reviews and prescribing
  • Referrals and care coordination
  • Supporting preventative healthcare and health promotion
  • Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications

  • GMC Registered GP with Licence to Practise
  • MRCGP or equivalent
  • Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
  • Experience working within General Practice
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision‑making skills
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient‑centred care

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience using SystmOne
  • Experience using Rapid Health or similar online consultation platforms
  • Experience undertaking duty doctor or triage responsibilities
