Role Availability

This role is available either as a full‑time role for one person, or as a 0.6FTE role for two people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the staff team by example, with integrity and commitment to the organisation’s values.
• Recruit, train and retain volunteers sufficient to provide support to families referred to the service.
• Provide support to volunteers, offering opportunities to challenge them and develop their skills.
• Use a trauma‑informed approach to mitigate the ongoing difficulties that early childhood trauma can cause in a child’s development.
• Work in partnership with families to identify their own goals and outcomes.
• Work in partnership with other organisations to assess and monitor the needs of children.
• Keep children safe from harm.
