The Opportunity 

n

QBE Europe is recruiting a Business Analysis Manager to join our team on a full time, permanent basis focusing on our Inwards Re-Insurance business. 

n

As a Business Analysis Manager, you’ll manage and mentor a team of analysts while acting as the vital link between business and IT. You’ll shape strategy, drive agile delivery, and lead process and systems analysis to unlock value across the organisation. With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, this role offers the opportunity to influence strategic roadmaps, deliver meaningful change, and build strong relationships with stakeholders and industry experts alike.

Your new role

  • nManage a team of Business Analysts providing coaching and mentoring.   n

nn

    n

  • nAct as the interface between business and IT teams to provide analysis support, building domain expertise to support your aligned business unit in shaping their strategy.   n

nn

    n

  • nLead in an agile working environment, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and flexibility.  n

nn

    n

  • nSpecialise in process, business, or systems analysis to identify gaps and define or redesign processes.  n

nn

    n

  • nManage essential process documentation and project implementation by collaborating with business partners.  n

nn

    n

  • nContribute to the development and maintenance of the strategic technical roadmap for the domain.  n

nn

    n

  • nSupport the implementation of business-led change to achieve business objectives.  n

nn

    n

  • nDrive overall improvement in the quality of analysis outputs.  n

nn

    n

  • nBuild relationships with industry experts and stakeholders to align solutions with business and IT strategy.  n

nn

    n

  • nFacilitate workshops and meetings to ensure objectives are met.  n

nn

    n

  • nCommunicate updates and changes in the IT strategy to all business stakeholders.  n

nn

About you 

n

    n

  • nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels in IT and business.  n

nn

    n

  • nHave strong Insurance or London Market and domain expertise, preferably with Re-Insurance experience.   n

nn

    n

  • nExperience of managing cross functional teams and matrix management.  n

nn

    n

  • nExperience of negotiating and influencing executive level sponsors.  n

nn

    n

  • nProven experience of interpreting business strategy and translating this into IT strategy.  n

nn

    n

  • nSignificant business analysis experience, including managing multiple projects and complex projects using various delivery methodologies.  n

nn

    n

  • nStrong track record of technology delivery.  n

nn

    n

  • nExperience of managing and working with IT external vendors.  n

nn

    n

  • nSignificant experience in the insurance industry.  n

nn

    n

  • nProject management experience, business analysis and improvement experience.  n

nn

    n

  • nExperience managing or leading others with increasing levels of responsibility.  n

nn

    n

  • nSome experience in a similar tech service environment within related industries.  n

nn

    n

  • nExperience working in a team-oriented, agile, collaborative environment.  n

nn
