PROPOSED SALARY RANGEn

Up to £115,000 + London Weighting (£5,441) + 25% Bonus, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

nRESPONSIBILITIESn

  • Drive revenue and performance accountability, holding full responsibility for branded content and partner sales revenue targets, KPIs, and forecasting, and sharing updates regularly with senior leadership.

  • Create and execute a high‑impact commercial growth plan for your markets.
  • n

  • Develop and instil the growth strategy and shape the team structure to deliver it.
  • n

  • Own key client and agency relationships.
  • n

  • Build quality pipelines, nurture relationships, and convert opportunities into multi‑year business across key clients and agency senior leadership teams.

  • Deliver market‑leading pitches.
  • n

  • Lead the team to deliver compelling, ambitious proposals that win briefs, deepen partnerships, and showcase the full breadth of what BBC Studios can offer.

  • Cocreate a world‑class commercial product suite.
  • n

  • Define the next generation of BBC Studios’ digital partnership products, giving advertisers distinctive access to our global fandoms, premium IP and multi‑platform reach that is competitively priced and positioned.

  • Champion the commercial potential of our IP.
  • n

  • Work cross‑functionally to align stakeholders and ensure our global catalogue is activated and monetised to its full potential.

nQUALIFICATIONSn

    n

  • Proven success selling multi‑platform, content‑led partnerships as well as video inventory, with a track record of building, pricing and selling ideas that span social, digital, experiential, talent and broadcast.
  • n

  • Experience leading high‑performing sales teams, setting direction, coaching talent, motivating through ambiguity, and building a culture that wins.
  • n

  • Developed industry network and strong commercial instinct, well‑connected across agencies, clients and platforms, comfortable negotiating at senior levels and navigating complex deal structures.
  • n

  • Strong record of innovation and commercial creativity, designing and pricing commercial products and partnership frameworks that tap into audience behaviour on platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and emerging formats.
  • n

  • Deep understanding of digital ecosystems and social video, with curiosity and expertise about platform evolution, creator economy, fan engagement, commerce integrations, data signals and format trends.
  • n

  • Financial acumen and confidence with revenue ownership, managing pipelines, forecasting accurately and structuring deals that deliver sustainable growth.
  • n

  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder, able to influence at all levels and present with clarity, conviction and warmth.
  • n

  • A natural motivator and doer, cutting through complexity, moving teams forward, unlocking blockers, and ensuring ideas turn into delivery.
  • n

  • Ideally, experience working with premium IP, fandoms or entertainment brands, especially understanding how to commercialise talent, formats and global franchises.
