About the role
Our Maintenance Technicians at iQ ensure that students always feel at home by carrying out minor repairs, tackling reactive maintenance, completing compliance checks, and interacting with students to improve their day‑to‑day lives.
Responsibilities
- Carry out minor repairs across our sites
- Tackle reactive maintenance such as plumbing, joinery, or painting and decorating
- Complete compliance checks and keep up to date with policies and procedures
- Interact with students and help make their day a little better
Qualifications
- Positive, team‑oriented mindset who thrives in a get‑stuff‑done environment
- Drive to get the job done to a high standard with strong communication skills
- Some experience in maintenance or as a general builder/labourer
Working hours
Shifts are planned at least six weeks in advance and may vary across a six‑week cycle. Working hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work agreed in advance for busy periods or open days.
