Production Operator

Salary Range: £25,000.00 To £26,000.00 Annually

An experienced Production Operator is needed to ensure efficient and timely packing, loading and dispatch of goods, whilst maintaining high standards of documentation and safety. The role also includes general housekeeping duties and handling hazardous goods in compliance with transport regulations.

The Day‑to‑Day

• Ensure the efficient and timely packing of goods as directed
• Tipping and loading vehicles and containers
• Accountable for all documentation associated with the role
• Accurately allocate, assemble and load customer orders
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and processes
• Assist in maintaining appropriate stocks of finished goods and raw materials
• Maintain good health and safety practices and ensure correct use and maintenance of equipment
• Assist with safe loading/dispatch of customer orders and unloading of incoming raw materials
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep production areas safe, clean and tidy
• Contribute to batch record maintenance and stock reconciliation for finished goods and raw materials
• Ensure hazardous goods are packed and shipped according to transport regulations, seeking advice from DGSA when necessary
• Suggest improvements to production, efficiency and health & safety procedures

The Skills We Are Looking for

• Relevant experience in a production, warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience working with Dangerous Goods
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to follow procedures
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Effective communication skills
• Forklift license (asset)
