About the Role/Team

We’re excited to offer a full‑time permanent opportunity for Multiskilled Void Repairs Technician to join our expanding Voids team. This mobile role covers our property portfolio across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, and surrounding regions. You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day maintenance in void properties, applying technical expertise across three or more trades to deliver high‑quality results. You’ll play a vital role in minimising void rent loss by adhering to void standards, ensuring properties are hazard‑free, and completing works efficiently and effectively. You’ll be based out of our Head Office in High Wycombe and our Stores Room in Chesham for equipment, property packs, and team briefings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance works in void properties
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal procedures
  • Achieve first‑time fixes and complete repairs within target response times
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and staff, providing excellent customer care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports on completed work
  • Manage tools, materials, and vehicle stock efficiently
  • Minimise waste and support continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

Must Haves

  • City & Guilds or NVQ in multiple trades, or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in maintenance and repair work across multiple trades
  • Knowledge of construction, building regulations, and health & safety standards
  • Valid UK manual driving licence – if successful in this role, you’ll receive a fully‑insured van plus a fuel card for business use.
  • Strong time‑management and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working in voids or property turnaround environments
  • Familiarity with mobile job management systems

For Added Brilliance

  • Confidence in working independently across a mobile patch
  • Passion for preparing safe, high quality homes for new tenants
  • Experience within social housing/local authority
