Senior Care Assistant

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person‑centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard.
• Provide hands‑on care and oversee medication administration.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.
• Maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
• Work alternate weekends.

Key Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 3 desirable.
• Willingness to work toward medication administration training with competency.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
