Overview
Rikama Education Ltd are supporting an SEMH provision in Bromley who are looking for a Hair and Beauty Teacher/Tutor/HLTA to join their team for 2 days a week as soon as possible. This role will become a permanent position for the right person. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and schemes of work
- Differentiate learning to support all learner abilities
- Deliver both group teaching and 1:1 learner support
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Prepare learners for assessments and successful outcomes
- Promote safeguarding, Prevent and learner wellbeing
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support learners with literacy, numeracy and ICT development
- Maintain high achievement and pass rates
Requirements
- PTLLS / CTLLS qualification – desirable
- DTLLS / Cert Ed / PGCE desirable
- Hair and/or Beauty Qualification
- GCSE English & Maths Grade C/4 or above
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience delivering vocational training or tutoring
- Passionate about learner progression and education
