Job Overview

Hours: 36 hours per weekShift Pattern: Covering Monday to Sunday, shifts are 23:00 to 08:30Work Base: Office based

Responsibilities

  • Deliver emotional support, brief interventions, and risk assessments, including suicide risk assessments.
  • Assess and manage risk, support safety planning and self‑management strategies.
  • Signpost callers to relevant NHS and community services, and escalates concerns to clinical teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records on NHS systems.
  • Work collaboratively with NHS staff, police, and partner agencies to ensure individuals receive appropriate support and care.
  • Build rapport quickly, offer reassurance, and demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and sound judgement.
