Welder (MIG & Flux Core)
First Achieve is partnered with a well‑established and growing engineering business that is expanding due to continued success and a number of exciting new projects. As a result, they are looking to recruit experienced, time‑served Welders to join their team.
The successful candidates will possess not only strong practical welding skills but also the positive attitude, work ethic, and commitment required to contribute to a collaborative and high‑performing working environment.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Time‑served Welder
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in MIG and Flux Core welding (essential)
- Ability to work effectively within fast‑paced project environments
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Quality‑focused approach to all aspects of work
Candidates who meet the above requirements will be invited to complete a weld test as part of the selection process.
Application Process
Please submit your CV along with your availability to attend a weld test within two weeks of your application. Weld tests can be accommodated Monday to Saturday, between 7:00am and 5:00pm.
Package
- Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
- Pay: £15.00 – £20.00 per hour (basic rate)
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate (uncapped)
- Expected Hours: Minimum 39 hours per week
