Job Details

• Location: Ockley
• Pay: Up to £18.50 per hour
• Shifts: 10 pm – 7 am waking nights
• Driver required: Yes – full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

What you’ll do

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support him to reach his full potential.

The client has CHARGE syndrome and due to this the client has a multitude of impairments where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes care of the ventilated child, PEG feeds via mini-button for medication, hydration and nutrients, oral suctioning and oxygen administration.

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare London branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience with PEG feeds and administering medication via this method.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience of caring for children who are non‑verbal in nature, sign‑supported and/or sensory communication.
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
