Overview
As a class teacher, you will create a positive, inclusive learning environment where children are inspired, challenged, and supported to reach their full potential. The purpose of this role is to provide high‑quality teaching and learning that supports the achievement, progress, and well‑being of all pupils.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the learning and development of pupils in your care.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents/carers, and external partners to meet individual needs.
- Demonstrate professionalism in your teaching practice, uphold the highest standards of behaviour and conduct.
- Contribute to a strong team ethos within the school.
Requirements
- Carry out duties within the appropriate statutory frameworks, in line with the Teachers’ Standards and the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
- Show a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, and promoting the welfare of all children.
- Undergo pre‑employment checks including a social media search, declaration form for Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations, and an enhanced DBS check.
