Community Care Assistant – Make a Real Impact!

Key Information

Important: Due to the personal care needs of our female clients, this role is open to female applicants only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 (Genuine Occupational Requirement).

Pay Rate: Up to £13.75 per hour

Experience: No experience needed – full training + shadowing provided

Hours: Flexible part-time or full-time shifts available

Weekend Work: Weekend availability required (flexible rota)

Mileage Options:

• Non-Mileage Rate: Higher hourly pay + claim mileage separately via HMRC
• Mileage Rate: Slightly lower pay + mileage paid through payroll

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing person‑centred home care
• Supporting with meals, medication, and daily tasks
• Offering companionship & emotional support
• Helping with appointments, shopping & social outings
• Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
