Were recruiting a Catering Manager to lead a well:established food service operation in Surrey . This is a unique leadership role within a specialist centre, delivering food services to young people, staff and visitors while supporting an important organisation.
The Catering Manager will skillfully lead the kitchen and front:of:house team, oversee daily catering operations across the site and act as the visible, customer:focused leader who drives service standards and team engagement. If you are an experienced Catering Manager or a strong hospitality professional with a culinary background, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a meaningful, community:focused operation in Surrey .
Offer
- Up to or over A GBP 45,000 per year
- 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year
- Monday:Friday working pattern
- Approx. 3 Saturdays per year only
- 4 weeks holiday
- Senior leadership role within a well:established contract
Operation and Food
- Long:standing partnership with an established catering company.
- Campus:style site supporting children and young people.
- Pre:ordered lunch and dinner service for over 40 people daily .
- 300+ covers per day in the staff dining facility.
- Fresh food offer including hot meals, deli bar, sandwiches and salads .
- Hospitality catering supporting fundraising and special events .
Role
- Lead and manage the full catering operation across the site.
- Provide strong front:of:house leadership and visible presence for customers and teams.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver consistent food quality and service standards.
- Oversee staffing, service flow, compliance and operational standards.
- Conduct site and house audits to ensure safety, quality and cleanliness standards.
- Manage ordering, stock control, food safety and operational compliance.
- Support hospitality and fundraising events across the campus.
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced Catering Manager or hospitality leader within contract catering, education or healthcare environments .
- Strong customer:facing leadership style with the ability to engage teams and guests.
- Reliable, consistent and committed to long:term roles.
