Overview

1 Lombard Street is a European brasserie situated in the heart of the city. It was opened 20 years ago and has remained the leading restaurant in the city.

Responsibilities

Run the pastry section on a daily basis in partnership with the Head and Sous Chefs, including menu planning, developing new dishes, and ensuring daily operations are smooth.

  1. Production for the menu and events
  2. Managing staff
  3. Ordering and stock rotation
  4. Ensuring all procedures in the section are in line with the company’s food safety rules
  5. Developing dishes alongside the Head chef

Qualifications

  • Previous experience running a busy pastry section on a daily basis
  • Experience in a high volume establishment
  • Ambitious, energetic, and passionate about the job
  • Ability to work independently and produce dishes agreed with the Head chef
