As Head Chef, you will set the culinary standard for the Inn, leading a talented kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your key responsibilities include:
- Creating and executing a high‑quality menu that showcases creativity, freshness, and presentation.
- Leading and mentoring the kitchen staff, fostering a professional and collaborative environment.
- Managing the kitchen’s daily operations to ensure smooth service and consistent quality.
- Ordering and coordinating with nominated suppliers to secure high‑quality ingredients while controlling costs.
- Monitoring food costs, waste, and labor to meet financial targets and maintain profitability.
- Maintaining strict hygiene, safety, and health‑and‑safety standards across all food preparation areas.
- Managing all kitchen activities under pressure and ensuring timely service during busy periods.
