Overview

Community Payback Supervisor in the Probation Service. Full‑time (37h per week) on a 4‑day condensed schedule (9.25h each). The role requires at least one weekend day and three additional days, and involves travel across the Lincolnshire region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise work groups of offenders serving community sentences.
  • Ensure completion of unpaid work placement tasks (e.g., clearing overgrowth, restoring community facilities, planting trees, litter picking, graffiti removal).
  • Drive service vehicles to transport people and equipment as required.
  • Work with service users to demonstrate good practice and maintain safety.

Working Pattern & Hours

  • 37 hours per week, 4 condensed days (9.25h).
  • Minimum of one weekend day and three other days per week.
  • Higher pay rate of 50% for weekend hours worked.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (automatic licence not acceptable).
  • Ability to travel to multiple work sites in the Lincolnshire region.
  • Empathy, strong communication skills, and willingness to lead a diverse team.
