Are you a CAD Technician with strong AutoCAD experience looking for your next contract opportunity?

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a CAD Technician to support the delivery of major projects across the Data Centre, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Residential, Commercial Fit‑Out, and Heritage sectors. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and innovation, they are involved in some of the most challenging and high‑profile engineering projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Prepare and amend technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams with the production of design and construction information.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, company standards, and industry requirements.
  • Assist engineers with design development and technical coordination.
  • Manage drawing revisions and document control procedures.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of design information.
  • Contribute to quality assurance procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a CAD Technician within an engineering consultancy or construction environment.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience producing detailed engineering or construction drawings.
  • Understanding of engineering drawing standards and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
