Qualified Social Worker – Assessment

Overview

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for a position within Assessments within Bournemouth Council. This role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking initial safeguarding visits to families being hosted in Herts.
• Undertaking Child & Family Assessments for children from the Ukraine where needed.
• Offering advice and guidance.
• Linking with multi‑agency colleagues.
• Completing safeguarding visits.

Experience preferred: post‑qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children’s team within the UK Social Care industry.

Well‑structured organised team, growing their social worker staffing levels. This is a role within the Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements

• SWE Registration.
• 1 year post qualifying experience within the UK.
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
