HGV Class 2 Trade Waste Driver

About The Role

Panda is a leading waste management solutions provider in Quarrington, specializing in sustainable resource recovery and circular economy practices. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

Operating from our Quarrington depot, you will safely collect and transport commercial waste using our modern fleet. You will work Monday‑Friday AM shifts with all breaks paid and occasional Saturday overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles (RCVs) for waste collections.
• Facilitate the collection of wheeled bin containers.
• Plan efficient routes to maximize productivity and minimize environmental impact.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects (DVSA compliant).
• Adhere to waste duty of care regulations and strict health and safety standards.

Essential Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence and current Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience in waste sector operations preferred.
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.

What We Offer

Hourly Pay: £15.92 per hour. Overtime paid after 40 hours at 1.25×.

• Fixed weekday AM shifts with occasional Saturday overtime.
