Location: Horsham, West Sussex (Must be able to commute reliably)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a caring, active, and reliable Support Worker to join a fantastic private team. You will be supporting a 22-year-old autistic, non-verbal young man within his own private residential setting.

This is a fulfilling role where you can truly make a difference. You will join a supportive, fun-loving team that prioritises the client’s happiness, independence, and life enrichment.

  • Fully Funded Training: Including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), NVQs in Health & Social Care, or Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) training with BACB accreditation.

  • Waking Night Perks: One night shift per week (13 hrs) paid as a full waking night, even if the client is sleeping.
  • Transport: Use of a car while on duty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active Support: Organising and participating in fun community trips, specialist provisions, and physical activities.
  • Daily Life: Assisting with school runs, drives, personal care, and developing vital self‑help skills.
  • Independence: Encouraging the client to lead an enriched, independent life.

Requirements (Strict Criteria)

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience specifically in Autism support (older children or adults).
  • Licence: A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Location: You must live within a reliable commuting distance of Horsham.
  • Personal Traits: You should be fit, healthy, and have a great sense of humour.
  • Work Rights: You must have UK work experience. No sponsorship is available.

Hours & Flexibility

  • Full‑Time: Average 40 hours per week (Fully negotiable/flexible for the right person).
  • Part‑Time: Hours are as flexible as needed to fit our small team.
  • Shift Patterns: Includes daytime, school holidays, and one 13‑hour night shift per week.
