About the Role
We are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to work on a full‑time, agency basis in schools across Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children in the early stages of their education and creating engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, play‑based learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Observe, assess, and monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive learning habits
- Work collaboratively with support staff to meet the needs of all learners
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within an EYFS setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
