Pay Rate: £130-£250 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Overview
Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG18 area to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed educator to join a thriving school and play a key role in preparing pupils for the next stage of their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and inclusive lessons that inspire and motivate learners
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, implementing interventions where necessary to raise attainment
- Support pupils in developing key literacy, numeracy, reasoning, and independent learning skills
- Prepare pupils for end‑of‑key‑stage assessments where applicable
- Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support pupil outcomes
- Attend staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parents’ evenings as required
Ideal Candidate
- Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience within a UK primary school setting
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has a strong understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum and effective teaching practices
- Is passionate about helping pupils achieve their full academic and personal potential
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Is committed to raising standards, promoting pupil wellbeing, and preparing children for a successful transition to secondary education
