We’re recruiting a Senior Support Worker / Team Leader to help lead a small, dedicated team supporting an adult with learning disabilities and/or autism to live a full, independent life.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll continue providing direct support, while mentoring colleagues and helping shape high‑quality, person‑centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Act as a positive role model, leading by example within the team
• Support the day-to-day coordination of the service, including rota oversight and shift guidance
• Assist with staff supervision, induction, and ongoing development
• Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful activities
• Support with medication administration, record keeping, and compliance
• Liaise with families, professionals, and the Locality Manager
• Identify and respond to any concerns, ensuring safe and effective support delivery

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Senior Support Worker experience or 1+ year supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
• Background in Supported Living, Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
• Ability to lead, coach and support colleagues
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Knowledge of person-centred approaches and best practice in care
• Calm, confident approach to managing challenging situations
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, values-led support
• Must hold a Full UK Driving License
