Start: Immediate & September Starts Available. Pay: £14.25 – £17.25 per hour. Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only.
A welcoming specialist setting in Wandsworth is looking for a SEN Pupil Support Assistant to join their team.
You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, speech & language needs, learning difficulties, and social, emotional and behavioural needs within a structured and supportive environment.
The role is hands‑on, varied, and incredibly rewarding.
Role Details
- Supporting learning activities within the classroom
- Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
- Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive relationships
- Helping create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals
- Ideally experience supporting SEN or additional learning needs
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and adaptable attitude
Training and ongoing support will be provided.

Requirements
- Provide suitable references for pre‑employment checks
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce (or Children’s & Adults’) update service, or be willing to obtain one
