Teaching Assistant – Intimate Care

• Duration: Term time (39 weeks per year), 28.33 hours per week.
• Salary: £16,585 to £17,115 per annum.
• Contract: Permanent, commencing as soon as possible.
• Location: Westbourne Academy, Academy Transformation Trust.

Responsibilities

Support students with personal care and encourage independence and self‑reliance. Establish supportive relationships, raise student self‑esteem and foster a positive attitude to learning. Work alongside teaching and pastoral teams to provide additional support within a secondary academy setting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Previous experience in an educational setting desirable but not essential.
• Self‑motivated with passion for supporting teaching and learning.
