Job Description:

We have been supporting my client with a variety of staff for a number of years now and subsequently, due to reorganisation, we are now looking to support them with a QC Operator

You will ensure that production standards are met and maintained for their products before it leaves the company

You will perform inspections from the production line, identify defects in the manufacturing process and correcting them.

You will also organise inspections, according to internal and legal standards.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment to various testing standards
  • Questioning the nature of defects while providing future solutions
  • Alerting the Quality Assurance department of ongoing problems and delivering resolutions
  • Inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
  • Filling out and maintaining proper paperwork
  • Complying with any and all standards, internal policies and legal regulations that apply to the finished product
  • Comparing finished products to original patents

Hours of work are Mon-Thur 8am-4.30pm with an early finish on Fridays

£12.71 per hour
